This is my favorite renaissance fair located at Riverview Park, off River Road. They have permanent buildings that make great backdrops, lots of shade, flat walking area. This is a smaller event than the one in Irwindale. I think this makes for better images. Lots of entertainment. Meet hundreds of family members living, working & playing in Southern California’s only permanent Renaissance Village! Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village are entertained, discover fine arts and crafts, and enjoy delectable food and beverages. The setting is the fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (aka Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg. Each year the Baron invites the finest minds and most talented actors to celebrate the coming of spring at his Barony of Koroneburg. Early mornings before the races, go to Clockers Corner where you can see all the horses going to the track for practice.  Get great close-up shots and images.  Also on weekends free tram tour, board the Seabiscuit Tram at Clockers Corner and take the tour of the stable areas, receiving barn and Paddock Gardens.  See Seabiscuit's original stall and barn and the jockeys room.  Tours depart at 8:30 and 9:45 AM every Sat and Sun during season.  www.santaanita.com

This year's "AirShow San Diego" (formerly known as "Wings Over Gillespie") will feature Return engagement and invited aircraft (subject to change): P-38 "23 Skidoo", P-51s, B-25, F4U Corsair, Aichi D3A ‘Val’, SNJ, C-47, 99’s with Julie Clarke in her T-34 Aerobatic routine, and return performances by John Collver's SNJ “War Dog” and the Red Eagles Formation Flight Team. The local military has been invited to display the current military aircraft at the show. A mock battle with "Pyro" will be flown both days. June 13 - Rods and Rails Car Show - Perris
Annual Rods and Rails Extravaganza, always a huge hit with lovers of classic cars, trains and Perris history, promises something for everyone who drops by the Orange Empire Railway Museum to take in the show. The City of Perris once again is teaming up with the Railway Museum and the Perris Valley Historical and Museum Association on the Rods and Rails Festival. Event organizers expect 4,500 to 5,000-visitors. 100 to 120-classic cars and 50 motorcycles to be on display. The Classic at Pismo Beach is one of the largest classic car and street rod shows on the West Coast and "one of the finest."
