Nov 6 - Route 66 Museum Classic Car Show - Victorville

Nov 6 - Veterans Day Celebration - Riverside
Parade, Bands, concerts, war birds and military vechicles. Airplane rides, vintage cars and hot rods. Historic Flabob Airport, 4130 Mennes Ave. Flabob Airport is the seventh oldest surviving airport in California. Founded in 1925 as Riverside's first civil airport.

Nov 6-7 - Pow Wow - Santa Fe Springs
Location at Heritage Park, 121000 Mora Ave, Santa Fe Springs. The two-day event, which will feature American Indian dancing, arts, crafts and food begins at 10 AM each day and runs until 10 PM on Saturday and 6 PM on Sunday. In addition to contests and inter-tribal dancing, there will be Gourd dancing and the Grand Entry at 1:30 Saturday and Sunday. Bring the family and friends for this BIG event.
Native foods such as Navajo tacos, fry bread and Indian burgers will be on sale at the event, and American Indian vendors will be selling both traditional and contemporary American Indian art. Plenty of free parking in the surrounding Industrial Park lots.

Nov 6-7 - Escondido Renaissance Fair - Escondido

Elizabethan reeanactors re-create a 16th century English village.

Nov 7 - Best of France and Italy Car Show - Van Nuys

Nov 13-14 - Cattle Call Rodeo - Brawley

Dec 4 - Pearl Harbor Day Troop Train Excursion - Los Angeles

Dec 4 - Planes of Fame Japanese Zero - Chino
The Planes of Fame Air Museum at Chino Airport will present its monthly "Living History Flying Day" event on Saturday, December 4, from 10 AM to 12 noon, featuring its Japanese Zero WW II fighter plane. The presentation will culminate around noon with a demonstration flight of the only original Japanese Zero Fighter in the world. Comfortable seating is provided in their main hanger for the discussion. The Zero will be parked right outside, readily accessible for up close and personal inspection and photography before it takes to the air. Dec 16-19 - Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade - Newport Beach
FREE to the public. The boat parade will light up the harbor for five consecutive nights from December 16-December 20 2009. The parade starts at Collins Island at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately two and a half hours over 250 ships participate in the parade along with hundreds of water front estates. Providing the backdrop for the parade is the Ring of Lights waterfront home and business decorating competition. FREE for spectators, entry fee for participating boats. Over 1 million people view the parade each year. For those of you that would like to be in parade Newport Landing offers 2 general admission cruises nightly every night of the parade that are a part of the actual parade.
